Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026 · Applies to the FillKaro Chrome extension
In short: FillKaro keeps your details in your own browser. It has no server, no account and no analytics, and it never sends your data anywhere.
What FillKaro does
FillKaro is a browser extension that fills web forms with details you save in it.
What FillKaro stores
The details and answers you type into FillKaro's settings, or choose to save from a form with "Save my answers from this page", plus your settings and profiles. This can include your name, contact details, address, date of birth, academic records and profile links.
Where it is stored
Only in your browser, using Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device. FillKaro has no server and no account.
What FillKaro sends
Nothing. FillKaro does not transmit, sell, share or analyse your data. It contains no analytics, tracking, advertising or remote code.
When FillKaro reads a page
Only when you click Fill, Preview, Undo or Save in its popup, press its keyboard shortcut, or use its right-click menu — and only on the tab you are on. It writes your saved values into that page's form fields, or reads the values you typed there when you ask it to save them. That page's data is not stored except for the answers you choose to save.
What it never touches
- Password, OTP, captcha, payment card, bank account, IFSC, UPI, Aadhaar and PAN fields.
- Submit buttons — FillKaro never submits a form.
- Consent, terms or declaration checkboxes. It only ticks options of multiple-choice questions that match an answer you saved.
Permissions it uses
- storage — to save your details on your device.
- activeTab and scripting — to fill the form on the current tab, only when you ask.
- contextMenus — to add "Fill this form" and "Save my answers" to the right-click menu.
FillKaro requests no access to all websites and does not run in the background on pages you visit.
Your control
Edit or delete any detail or answer in FillKaro's settings, export a backup, or use "Delete all my data". Uninstalling the extension also deletes its stored data. Backup files you export are saved where you choose; keep them private.
Children
FillKaro is meant for students applying to colleges, internships and jobs. It does not knowingly collect anything from anyone — all data stays on the user's own device.
Changes
